Man Tried To Abduct Child From Long Island Mall: Police
Police say the man grabbed the boy's hand and started to walk away, but was stopped. Do you know who he is?

Nassau police are searching for a man who tried to abduct a child from the Green Acres Mall Saturday evening.
According to police, the man pictured above was seated on a bench in a common area of the mall around 5 p.m. Police say he grabbed a young boy's hand and tried to walk out of the area with him. The man was stopped by the boy's family member, and the man walked away.
The man was white, about 35 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 140 pounds and wearing a dark green coat, a red shirt, red and white pants and black boots.

Police are trying to identify and locate the man. Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
