Man Wanted In Broken Bottle Assault
BREAKING: A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in the attack, Nassau Police say. Do you recognize the man pictured?

Nassau Police have released a surveillance photo of a man wanted in an assault that seriously injured a 25-year-old man early Wednesday.
A Third Precinct officer found the victim lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds in the vicinity of West Merrick Road and South Franklin Avenue in Valley Stream around 3:30 a.m. The man suffered deep lacerations to his head, neck, arms and chest, police said.
A Nassau Police ambulance transported him to a local hospital where he was initially listed in serious but stable condition. His current condition is unclear.

An investigation revealed that the man in the surveillance photo assaulted the victim using broken bottles and then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The attacker is described as Hispanic with a slight build, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, and about 140 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap with "NEW YORK" in white lettering on the front and gray jeans.
Police are asking anyone with any information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
