Masked Men Rob Nassau Cellphone Store
BREAKING: An employee was ordered to lie face down in a back room as the robbers stole cellphones Thursday afternoon, police say.

VALLEY STREAM, NY – Police are searching for two masked men who robbed a cellphone store in Valley Stream Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the two men entered the T-Mobile store located at 116 Rockaway Avenue at about 1:53 p.m. and ordered a 35-year-old male employee to the back of the store.
The men made the employee lie face down while threatening the use of a gun, but no gun was displayed. The robbers stole an undetermined number of cellphones and then exited through the rear door, police said.

They were last seen entering a white 4-door sedan and then heading westbound on West Fairview Avenue and then south onto Corona Avenue.

Both men were described as black, between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot, and in their 20s. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark sneakers, a black mask, black glasses, and hat with red brim. The other was wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, black and red sneakers, a black mask and black glasses.
Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
