Mount Sinai Looks To Bring Medical Offices To South Shore
Mount Sinai South Nassau is proposing a $35 million investment in a new Wantagh facility.
WANTAGH, NY — Mount Sinai South Nassau is proposing a $35 million investment in the South Shore. They seek to convert a vacant Verizon building on Wantagh Avenue into a one-stop-shopping medical office complex.
The Wantagh structure will bring the latest in cancer care, cardiology, diabetes, radiology, women's care and endocrinology.
The new facility is by-appointment only with private, patient examination and consultation rooms. Patients will have ample parking and experienced Mount Sinai specialists, nurses and physician assistants.

The medical office building also will create approximately 100 high skilled jobs and give an economic boost to Wantagh, the hospital said.
A Town of Hempstead Board of Zoning and Appeals is scheduled to hold a public hearing in April.
