ELMONT, NY — Multiple shots were fired near the rear of St. Vincent's de Paul Church on Raff Avenue in Elmont late Friday afternoon, Nassau police.

A male victim was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead just before 6 p.m., detectives said.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police. They ask anyone who can provide information on the deadly incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
