Nassau Bank Robbed In Broad Daylight: Police
Police are looking for the man who they say made off with cash after robbing the bank.
LAWRENCE, NY — Nassau County police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Lawrence Tuesday morning.
According to police, the man entered the Roslyn Savings Bank at 333 Central Ave. at 11:09 a.m. Once there, he approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied, and the man fled the bank with the cash.
There were four employees and four customers in the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was injured.

The robber was a black man, 6 feet tall with a medium build, wearing a black T-shirt, dark pants, a black hat and a surgical mask.
Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
