Two local legislators are calling for a fix for the Nassau Expressway traffic issue. It's the centennial year of the Santa Marina mass in Inwood. And Nassau Police released the locations of car break-ins nearby: see where they occurred.

- Daniel Robertson has the details on two county legislators' proposing a bypass to help traffic congestion on the Nassau Expressway. County Legislators Denise Ford and Howard Kopel, both Republicans from the Five Towns, held a news conference to call attention to the issue. (LI Herald)
