Nassau House Fire; Multiple Departments Battle Blaze
No injuries were reported from Monday's fire in Woodmere.

WOODMERE, NY — Multiple departments responded to a house fire in Woodmere on Monday. It happened just after noon at a residence on Church Avenue, Nassau police said.
There were no injuries. The fire was caused by workers fixing a plumbing problem in the house, authorities said.
Woodmere, Lawrence/Cedarhurst, Inwood, Meadowmere and Rockville Centre fire departments assisted in extinguishing the blaze.
