LI Man Set Fire On Landlord's House After Argument: Police

Police say the landlord's two children were home at the time, and they are the ones that first saw the fire.

An Inwood man was arrested on Thursday after police say that he lit part of his landlord's house on fire.

According to police, Kamarion King, 24, of Inwood, got into an argument with his landlord. Afterward, police say that King used a lighter to set fire to an exterior security camera on the home.

The landlord's 14-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter were at home at the time. They saw the fire and told their father, who called police. No one was injured.

King was located a short time later on Bayview Avenue and placed under arrest.

King is charged with second-degree arson and first-degree reckless endangerment. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
