Nassau Police Looking For Boys Involved In Hit And Run
Police say the two collided with a man while they were on a scooter, seriously injuring him. They then walked away from the scene.

Nassau Police are looking for two boys they say are responsible for a hit and run in Cedarhurst in September.
According to police, a 54-year-old man stepped out of Wok Tov, located at 594 Central Ave., at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 14. When he was standing on the sidewalk, he was hit by a green motorized scooter and suffered a serious leg injury. After the crash, the driver and his passenger, who fell off the scooter, walked away.
The driver was 15 to 17 years old, and the passenger was 10 to 13. They were both wearing white shirts, black pants and yarmulkes.

Police are asking anyone with information about this crash to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous, and you could earn a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
