Overnight Walk Turns Deadly For Man Killed By SUV: Police
Breaking: The driver remained at the scene, as police are continuing the investigation, detectives say.
ELMONT, NY — A 53-year-old man was struck and killed by an SUV early Tuesday, police said.
The victim was walking across Elmont Road near School Road when he was hit by a 2014 Honda CRV just after 4:30 a.m., detectives said.
He suffered severe trauma and was taken to a local hospital where was pronounced dead.
