I have personally witnessed a repeated practice on the part of policeman from the local Hewlett precinct giving out tickets to parked cars there. The drivers are orthodox jews coming in the morning to pray at the Young Israel of Woodmere. This seems like a clear act of religious discrimination against Jews as the police are known to wait till the drivers have entered the synagogue then write and place the tickets and drive away.
