Police Not Arresting Man Who Grabbed Child At LI Mall
Police say there is no probable cause to arrest the man, who grabbed the child's hand and tried to walk away with him.

Nassau police on Tuesday said they would not be seeking to arrest a man who grabbed a child's hand at the Green Acres Mall.
Police say that the man, who has not been identified, was at the mall at 5 p.m. on Jan. 5 when he grabbed the hand of a young boy and tried to walk away with him. The man was stopped by the boy's family member, and then left the mall.
Nassau police sent out a statement early Tuesday saying that the incident "does not comprise of probable cause for an arrest at this time."

According to Newsday, police officers interviewed the child's parents and determined there was no probable cause for an arrest.
