Police Release Video of Valley Stream Armed Robbery

VALLEY STREAM, NY - Police recently released video footage of a man involved in an armed robbery that occurred at a Green Acres Mall parking lot back in February.

On Feb. 11, a man armed with a handgun, approached a 60-year-old in the Macy’s parking lot, south exit and demanded she remove her rings and hand them over, police said.

The woman complied and the man fled on foot through the parking lot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.

The man is described as a tall with a thin build, and light complexion, police said. He was also seen in the mall during the same day from 1:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
