Remembering The 9/11 Victims From The Five Towns
Eight FDNY firefighters from, or nearby, the Five Towns, perished in the 9/11 attacks 20 years ago.
FIVE TOWNS, NY — In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, the deadliest terror attack on American soil, Patch remembers the victims from the Five Towns and neighboring communities. There were 281 Nassau County residents who died on 9/11, but that number was increased to 344 based on the length of time in their hometown.
