Residents Can Get COVID-19 Booster Shots This Week

VALLEY STREAM, NY — The rate of positive COVID-19 cases is still hovering at 10 percent on Long Island. For residents in need of a booster shot, the Town of Hempstead and Mount Sinai South Nassau are teaming again.

The Vaxmobile will visit the Valley Stream Farmers Market on Thurs., Aug. 4.

To receive the booster, the original vaccination card is required.

Paxlovid is now offered for those who test positive.
