School Bus On Fire At Mechanic's Shop On Thursday

INWOOD, NY — Firefighters were called to a commercial building in Inwood on Thursday afternoon.

Nassau County police say a school bus caught fire while being worked on at a mechanic's shop on Hoover Street. No one was injured.

Thick, black smoke could be seen billowing into the sky from social media posts.

The Inwood Fire Department brought the fire under control.
