Stabbing In Home Leads To Man In Custody On Multiple Charges: PD

VALLEY STREAM, NY — A man was stabbed in a Valley Stream home in the early hours of 2022. Police were responding to a disturbance at a Melrose Street residence.

They found a 26-year-old stabbed three times in the abdomen, police said.

An investigation concluded that Reyesun Watson, 18, of Brooklyn, had a verbal altercation with the victim that escalated to the stabbing, detectives said.

Watson was placed in custody without incident. He was due to be arraigned on Sunday in Hempstead on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
