Stopped For Speeding, Elmont Driver With Illegal Gun, Bullets: Cops

Fabian Williams II faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, police say.

ELMONT, NY — An Elmont man, who was pulled over for speeding, was arrested for having an illegal handgun and bullets inside the vehicle, police said.

Fabian Williams II was stopped on Meacham Avenue in Elmont just after 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers discovered an illegal FEG model PMK-380 caliber gun with seven rounds of ammunition. A set of grey colored brass knuckles was also seized, police said.

Williams, who was taken into custody without incident, is charged with several counts of criminal possession of a weapon and a count of criminal possession of a firearm. He was scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday.
