Teachers Sought For Book Donation Drive
Hindi's Libraries of the Five Towns is holding the charitable event on Aug. 24.
CEDARHURST, NY — Hindi's Libraries, the Five Towns-based international literacy non-profit organization that collects new or gently used children's books, is hosting a free teacher event.
The group is seeking educators to visit the Hewlett headquarters to pick up children's books for their classrooms.
The back-to-school donation event is scheduled for Wed., Aug. 24.

Leslie Gang, the founder of Hindi's Libraries, is asking for teachers to apply for the event. They will support teachers and classrooms "where books are not easily accessible by the school district or students," she said in an email.
