Town Of Hempstead Offering COVID-19 Booster Shots This Week

VALLEY STREAM, NY — While data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicates Nassau County is the only location in the state still at "high risk" for community spread of COVID-19, the Town of Hempstead Vaxmobile is rolling on to get more residents vaccinated.

On Thursday, June 30, the Vaxmobile, operated by Mount Sinai South Nassau, will park in Valley Stream.

Booster shots will be provided at the Farmers Market on West Merrick Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You must show the original vaccination card to receive the booster.
