Valley Stream Man Hospitalized After Dog Bite To His Neck, Police Say

VALLEY STREAM, NY. — A 74-year-old Valley Stream man was hospitalized Wednesday after a dog bit him in the neck, police said.

Nassau County police said the 74-year-old man was hospitalized and listed in stable condition while Town of Hempstead Animal Control responded to the scene of the incident. Police did not say what kind of dog was involved in the incident, or what the status of the dog was.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
