Valley Stream Motorcycle Crash Sends 1 Person To Hospital

It hit a van Wednesday morning on Corona Avenue, police say.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — A motorcycle and van collided Wednesday morning in Valley Stream.
A 61-year-old man was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle south of Corona Avenue near Dutch Broadway. He struck a 2016 Ford transit van, being driven by a 72-year-old man.

The motorcyclist hit the van's passenger sliding door causing the motorcyclist to fall from the bike, authorities said.

He suffered head and face trauma along with a broken right leg and a broken pelvis. The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital.
