Valuable Guitar Stolen From Home; Person Fled: Nassau Police

It happened on Saturday afternoon while the home was unoccupied, police say.

EAST ROCKAWAY, NY — A home was burglarized on Saturday afternoon in East Rockaway and then the person fled, police said.

When the 34-year-old female victim returned home she discovered that a guitar, valued at approximately $15,000, was stolen, detectives said.

No other details were released by the police.
