The man fled the scene early Wednesday, detectives said.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — A man was caught on a Ring doorbell video entering an unlocked white BMW in Valley Stream, police said.

The suspect, at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, swiped a wallet from the vehicle containing multiple credit cards, detectives said. The car was parked in the driveway of a residential home on Lyon Street.

Police are investigating.
