Woman Struck By Car While Crossing LI Road In Critical Condition
The driver remained at the scene of the Sunday night crash, police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY — A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night in Valley Stream.
A 62-year-old man, who was driving a 2010 Ford Van, hit a 61-year-old woman crossing the intersection of North Central Avenue and Margaret Drive, police said.
It happened just approximately 9:30 p.m.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with multiple trauma injuries.
