Mathanasium Opens in Forest Hills

Mathanasium debuted its new tutoring center site in Forest Hills and is currently assessing students on their math skills.

The center, located at 108-14 72nd Ave., will teach everything from counting numbers to calculus to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

"We're now assessing students and giving them tests," said Kaitlin O'Neill, the center's owner. "One of our first students is coming in today to begin their work."

O'Neill said she intends to eventually have four or five instructors working at the center.

Gymboree, which previously operated at Mathanasium's site, has moved across the street to 108-21 72nd Ave., 2nd Floor.
