There are approximately 15 million Americans with food allergies and 6 million of them are children. Food allergies cause 200,000 emergency room visits each year and are life-threatening . There is no cure.
Join us to raise awareness, education and funding for research on Sunday, October 14th at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow to Walk for Food Allergies. Registration begins at 12:00 and the Walk starts at 1:00. It will be a fun afternoon with a carnival area for smaller children, a video game bus for the teens and great raffles for the adults.
