Ooshas Haircutters

About Oosha: Mrs. Oosha Teemal is no stranger to the world of Cosmetology, and it all began when she was a child.

This  is one time that I find it a pleasure to write about someone who owns, and manages a business. Since my first encounter with  Oosha’s Haircutters I am impress that this small Hair salon is able is give back to this community known as Forest Hills Queens. The owner, Oosha Teemal has  been cutting hair since she was a teenager. Oosha’s experience  is demonstrated from the moment you sit in her chair until the finished product. In other words you look better than when you first  walked in. Most of Oosha’s clientele range from judges, attorneys, accountants, blue collar workers, to entire families. And I have to tell you, that most of her clients have been devoted to her for fifteen to twenty years. There  is another portion of her clientele that are retired, and those that have been subjected to hard times in terms of the condition of the economy, this population receive her service at discounted prices, and sometimes for free. .If you walk-in into her store bald she treats you with the respect as those with a full head of hair. The customers who are geriatric, and fall prey to a debilitating disease which prevents them  from traveling, Oosha gets in her car to visit them to style their hair. Her compassion, values, and morals come early from parents who taught her the importance of community, how we are part of this universal dynamic referred  to as the human race. Oosha is aware that we all share a responsibility for one another, and this extends above and beyond a financial profit. I can only say that I wish that all business would share her model. I want to conclude that I hope that someone will take note of what I have written, and encourage her to continue her acts of unselfishness. Commend her that this is, and should be the foundation of how we should all treat each other. Incorporating respect, and a humanistic approach that will cause us all to be more aware of the human condition
