The Special Offers Just Keep On Coming

is offering three-course dinners for $25 through this Thursday as part of the borough-wide Discover Queens Restaurant Week. But when this promotion ends, countless bargains will continue at this classic Italian restaurant in Forest Hills.

That's really just the bargain appetizer. From noon to 4 p.m. every day, lunch specials go for $12.96. For an appetizer, patrons choose between Fried Calamari, Stuffed Mushrooms, House Salad, Sauteéd Spinach and Soup of the Day. Then it’s between Tortellini Bolognese, Chicken Francese, Grilled Chicken Caesar, Pepperoni Pizza, Veal Marsala and Eggplant Parmigiana. To wash it down, diners select a glass of house red or white wine, soda, coffee or tea.

On Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Piccola’s website lists a $16.95 prix fixe deal. Appetizer options include Caesar Salad or House Salad, Mussels Posillipo/Luciana, Portobello Griglia and Fried Calamari. The entrees feature Stuffed Shells alla Nona, Penne Alla Salmon, Chicken Cardanli, Veal Pizzaovilia and Tilapia Oregenatta. Wine is extra, but coffee, tea and dessert are included.

No reason to stop there. The $14.95 Sunday Brunch Menu rounds out the week in high-quality, low-priced style. The entrée options are Omelet, Orecchietti alla Campagnola, Penne alla Salmone, Steak and Fries, Sandwich alla Caprese and Sandwich alla Salmone. Flan or pancakes are for dessert, and there are two kinds of beverage deals: mimosa, bloody Mary or a glass of red/white wine; and soda, juice, coffee or tea.

The Metropolitan Avenue eatery also has party packages. For $31.95 (plus tax), a diner can enjoy a salad, a pasta dish and a choice of Veal Parmigiana, Broiled Filet of Sole or Eggplant Parmigiana.

For $41.95 (plus tax), Piccola offers a package including Stuffed Mushrooms, Baked Clams, Fried Calamari or Fried Zucchini for appetizers; Linguine Pomodoro or Penne alla Vodka for the pasta course and Chicken Francese, Veal Marsala, Broiled Filet of Salmon and Eggplant Rollatini as entrée options.

And then there’s the $47.95 (plus tax) level. This includes Hot Antipasto or Cold Antipasto as appetizers, Caesar or House as salad options, Linguine with White Clam Sauce or Penne alla Vodka for pasta, followed by Chicken Margarita, Veal Pizzaiola, Broiled Filet Sea Bass and Grilled Filet Mignon.

All offers include wine, soda, coffee, tea and dessert.

Piccola also caters and has a pizza toppings list that features everything from artichokes to jalapeños. Other attractions are live music on Friday and Saturday and plenty of parking.
