Burke Rehabilitation Hospital Presents Safe Driving for Seniors Event
-Ongoing Senior Health Series supports healthy aging-
Safe driving is an issue of crucial concern for seniors who want to maintain their independence, as well as the community as a whole. Burke Rehabilitation Hospital will host a program on “Staying Safe on the Road” for seniors on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at its main campus in White Plains (785 Mamaroneck Avenue).
The goal of this important program is to help seniors maintain their freedom while staying as safe as possible on the road. This lecture is the next installment in Burke’s Senior Health Series, a series of bi-monthly breakfast sessions for seniors in the community that cover topics such as fall prevention, how to make your home safer, diet and exercise and more.
This complimentary event is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the Q&A following the presentation. A light breakfast, coffee and tea will be provided. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the lecture begins at 9:00 a.m.
