It's April, which means it's National Poetry Month, and you are invited to Kew Gardens to celebrate the joy and impact that poetry can have on a community!
When? Saturday, April 25, 2026, noon-3:00pm, (rain date Sunday, April 26th)
Where? Kew Gardens Cinemas Park (on Austin Street, off of Lefferts Blvd)
Bring along a favorite poem, old or new, classic or contemporary, or an original poem written by YOU! Adults and children of all ages are welcome to step up to the open microphone to read or recite. If you don't have a poem, don't worry, we have a collection you can choose from.
