Cardozo Tops Forest HIlls High School Baseball, 10-0

Sixth loss in a row for struggling Rangers

Forest Hills High School's baseball team (6-6) had lost five games in a row coming into today’s matchup with first place Cardozo High School in the Queens A East Division. The Rangers were in pre-game warmups and head coach Marty Finkelstein laid out what a team needs to do to play winning baseball.

“You gotta hit in the clutch. Gotta have good fielding and good pitching,” Finkelstein said.

Forest Hills didn’t have enough of the basics in falling to Cardozo 10-0 in a game shortened by the “10 run rule.” The game was called after 6 innings, as Cardozo demonstrated its superiority in all facets of the game.
