Forest Hills Duo Found With Over 80 Fake Credit Cards, Over $10,000 in Cash: Police

EAST MEADOW, NY - Two Forest Hills men were arrested after they were found with over 80 fake credit cards and over $10,000 in cash in East Meadow on Thursday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.

Officers were on routine patrol in the CVS parking lot on Hempstead Turnpike when they saw a 2005 Audi repeatedly honking its horn, police said.

The officers approached the car and saw a clear glass pipe with a burnt substance believed to be crack cocaine on the center console, police said.

During an investigation, the driver, 28-year-old Artyom Saribekyan, and his front passenger, 30-year-old Vladimir Bychkov, were asked to exit the car, police said.

Bychkov was observed to have New York and Pennsylvania driver’s licenses, both with his photo in different names and 10 fraudulent credit cards, police said. Saribekyan was found to have 12 fraudulent credit cards, police said.

Further investigation revealed a blue handbag in the car that contained $10,500 in cash along with 67 fraudulent credit cards, police said.

Both men were placed into police custody. There were no injuries reported.

Saribekyan is charged with 13 counts of possession of a forged instrument, fourth degree grand larceny, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Bychkov is charged with 11 counts of second degree possession of a forged instrument, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
