
Under the baton of Music Director James John, the Queens College Choral Society, with the Queens College Choir and Queens College Orchestra, will perform Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem, a beloved masterwork of great musical and emotional depth. Nora Mooney, a current voice major at the Aaron Copland School of Music, Queens College will sing the soprano solo, joined by Jhasoa Agosto, Baritone.
Written with all humanity in mind, Brahms’s Requiem is truly a sublime work, transcending cultural boundaries through music that is majestic, uplifting and deeply moving. Come experience the beauty of one of the most beloved choral orchestral masterpieces of all time.
