This workshop will focus on Sirshasana (head stand) and Pincha Mayurasana (forearm balance). Headstand calms the mind, strengthens the arms, legs and spine and improves balance. Regular headstand practice rejuvenates brain cells and stimulates the nervous system. Forearm balance is a stress-relieving pose that also strengthens and stretches the shoulders, arms, and back. This workshop is intended to teach the spiritual intention of these poses and give students time to slowly work on them, making rapid progress in a short time.
*Please note the time adjustment: the workshop is 2.5 hours from 3:30pm-6:00pm.
