WorldPlay Summer Camp

WorldPlay Summer Camp begins July 18, 2011 thru September 2, 2011 for students in grades Pre-K thru 7th. Hourse are 8AM to 6PM. Registration is ongoing and campers can register for one, two, three, four or as many days and weeks as they like. Price is $350 per week and $75 per day. Price includes breakfast, lunch, snack and admission to all events.

Campers will enjoy fun-filled days/weeks of arts and crafts, music, film, and food! Our country-themed activities include, but are not limited to, Capoeira, West African Drumming,  Karate, Origami, as well as language and culinary lessons.

Each week also includes: private swim lesson and tennis lessons with NYC Parks and Recreation, and trips to local events/attractions. Trips include Brooklyn Cyclones baseball game, Broadway show, fishing, nature tours, museum, Bronx Zoo, Central Park,  and much, much more!! These events are in addition to our daily language and cultural instruction activities. A tentative daily schedule is:

8AM to 9AM – Meet and greet and breakfast

9AM to 11AM – Cultural activities/crafts/language lesson

11AM to 1PM – Lunch and outdoor play (weather permitting)

1PM to 3PM – Activities (swim/tennis/trips/etc.)

3PM to 4PM – Snack/play

4PM to 5PM – Academic games

5PM to 6PM – Outdoor play (weather permitting)/ Pick Up
