Forest Hills 'Taste Of The World' Festival Happening Sunday
Tickets for the annual parish fundraiser and local restaurant showcase are $30 at the door.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Local eateries will showcase dishes from around the world at the annual "Taste of the World" food festival in Forest Hills on Sunday.
Confirmed eateries include Violet’s Vietnamese Shoppe, Agra Palace, OBA Mediterranean Restaurant, Knish Knosh, La Dolce Italia Bakery, Cobblestone Pub, Layla’s Delicacies and Compadre 77 Mexican Restaurant, according to the Forest Hills Post.
Last year's food festival featured 38 restaurants and bakeries.

Hosted by Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, the local restaurant showcase and parish fundraiser is celebrating its eighth year. The church will sell sweepstakes tickets for three prizes: $1,500 cash, a $350 Jet Blue card and $200 cash. Tickets cost $60 each or three for $100. At the event, attendees can buy raffle tickets for prizes like gift certificates and gift baskets from local businesses like Aigner Chocolates and The Wine Room of Forest Hills, according to the Forest Hill Post.
The eighth annual "Taste of the World" festival is Sunday, March 10, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church. Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door. To buy tickets, stop by the church or call 718-268-6251 during business hours.

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs is located at 110-06 Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills, Queens. The festival takes place in the church's academy building auditorium; the entrance is at the back of the church parking lot on 72nd Road off Austin Street.
