It’s Monday again, and despite the holiday — and the snow — it’s time to take a look at what’s happening at the gas pumps in your community. Do you need to fill up the tank? Forest Hills Patch can help. We compile some of the lowest gas prices in the area to help you make an informed decision about where to spend those hard-earned commuting bucks.

For the cheapest price on regular-grade gasoline this week, the cheapest gallon you’re likely to find is on Metropolitan Avenue at the Gulf station, where you can fill up for $3.399 per gallon.

Just down the street at , you can find the cheapest price on a gallon of mid-grade or plus gasoline, with prices set at $3.419 per gallon.

Looking to put some premium in your car? Look no further than the full-service Getty Station at 75-41 Yellowstone Blvd in Rego Park, just on the other side of the old Rockaway Line. You can fill up the tank there for $3.599 per gallon.

If you need diesel fuel, the cheapest gallon we’ve found in the area is at the Mobil Station at 68-27 Woodhaven Blvd., just across the street from the Getty.
