This week, you’ll have to drive a lot further than normal to get the lowest price, and the lowest price has certainly gone up, with premium gasoline now clearing the $4 mark by more than 15 cents.

If you’re looking to fill up with regular-grade gasoline, the cheapest gallon in the area is at the Gulf station at 118-11 Atlantic Ave south of Forest Hills in Richmond Hill. Gasoline at the Gulf is going for $3.919 per gallon.

If you’re looking for mid-grade or plus-level gasoline, head over to Steven Scott Sunoco on Metropolitan Avenue in Forest Hills. Plus gasoline there is on sale for $3.939 per gallon.

If your tank only takes the good stuff, premium is on sale at the Getty station, also in Richmond Hill, at 130-14 Hillside Ave. for $4.159 per gallon.

If you’re looking for diesel fuel, you can find it at the Mobil station in Rego Park at 6827 Woodhaven Blvd. for $4.799 per gallon.
