The cheapest gallon of regular unleaded in the area this week is the same as last week: $2.979 per gallon. After a big jump in prices two weeks ago, gas prices have held steady in the area.

For the cheapest gallon of regular unleaded, stop by the station on Metropolitan Avenue. A gallon of regular unleaded is $2.979.

For the cheapest price on plus-grade gasoline, you'll have to cross the border into Rego Park and swing by the Getty station at 61-60 Woodhaven Boulevard. Plus-grade gasoline is going for $3.099 per gallon.

It's a bit of a hike to get to the cheapest premium-grade gasoline in the area, with the BP station at 119-01 Atlantic Ave. in Richmond Hill boasting the area's best price yet again, $3.199 per gallon.
