Forest Hills: Your Lowest Gas Prices

Forest Hills has seen another big jump in fuel prices, and for the first time in weeks, Steven Scott Sunoco hasn't cornered the market on cheap fuel in the area.

Two weeks ago, the lowest gas prices in the neighborhood were hovering around $3 per gallon, with regular-grade gasoline coming in at as low as $3.09 in places.

Now, prices have increased for the second week in a row.

This week the cheapest fuel prices in the area are coming in at $3.239 per gallon at the Mobil station at 64-01 Woodhaven Blvd. in Rego Park has it.

While it may not reign supreme with every conceivable car this week, on Metropolitan Avenue still has the cheapest plus-grade gallon at $3.299.

If you're looking for premium to fill up the tank, the lowest price is at the Getty Station at 75-41 Yellowstone Boulevard in Rego Park. Premium gasoline at the Getty is going for $3.459.

The lowest price of diesel fuel this week has come in at lower than premium-grade gasoline, coming in at $3.399 at the Gulf station just on the other side of the Long Island Expressway at 110-35 Horace Harding Expy.
