Forest Hills: Your Lowest Gas Prices

It’s time again to take a look at what’s happening in local gas prices. As auto costs fluctuate, we try to make it easier to find ways to save a few bucks here and there, and part of that is knowing where to fill up the tank.

Here’s a look at the best places to save money on fuel. All listings are courtesy of www.motortrend.com.

If you’re trying to find regular unleaded, the best place to make that happen is at the Mobil station at 61-60 Woodhaven Blvd. in Rego Park. They’re selling regular gasoline for $3.799 per gallon.

If you’re trying to find some plus-grade gasoline, head over to the Gulf station at 90-02 Metropolitan Ave., where they’re selling the stuff for $4.019 per gallon.

If you need to fill up the tank with premium, you’re going to need to head to a neighboring Gulf station at 91-01 Metropolitan Ave. at the corner of Woodhaven Boulevard. There, premium is on sale for $4.119 per gallon.

If you’re looking for diesel fuel, the best place to go is the Mobil station at 68-27 Woodhaven Blvd., where you can fill up the tank for $4.599 per gallon.
