Forestdale
is a family services agency dedicated to the future of the children of Queens.
Our mission is to ensure that youth have the fundamental assets they need to
grow into independent and engaged adults, specifically a safe and loving home,
education and career opportunity, and health literacy. With a history of
service dating to 1854, Forestdale serves over 1,000 families from Astoria to
Far Rockaway every year.
Forestdale will be participating a multi-charity 5K Run/Walk that will take place in New York City's Riverside Park. When you sign up for this race and choose to support Forestdale, you can accomplish something even more important than getting back into shape!
We hope to raise $20,000 to support Forestdale's health and fitness programs for our children and families. The registration fee is $20 and we hope that with your additional fundraising support we can go above and beyond this goal.
