Hooker Stole $50K in Diamonds from Local Man: Report

Forest Hills jeweler has goods stolen after illicit liaison, the New York Post says.

A Forest Hills jeweler lost $50,000 in diamonds after hooking up with a prostitute in Manhattan, the New York Post reported.

According to the paper, local resident Kurt Kaiser was drowning his sorrows at a bar in Manhattan — with a briefcase full of diamonds in tow — when a young woman asked to join him.

One thing led to another, and the two were on their way to a TriBeCa hotel before Kaiser told the paper he realized she was a prostitute. He also added he started feeling woozy and thought he had been drugged.

He hid the diamonds in a drawer in the room, he said, thinking they would be safe.

Kaiser awoke in the hotel room to discover that everything except his wallet had been stolen.
