UPDATE: Arrest In Sexual Assault of Two Girls

Suspect approached two children in Flushing Library, police say.

UPDATE, June 8 - 6:45 p.m.: Police announced on Sunday that they had made an arrest in the case.

Joel Grunbert, 49, of Skillman Avenue in Brooklyn, was arrested on Sunday and charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection with two sexual assault incidents that occurred at the Flushing Library on Main Street June 23.

The suspect in question approached two young girls, aged 6 and 9 years old and touched them inappropriately, according to police.

The man police are seeking is in his 40's, 180 pounds and stands roughly 5-foot-7. At the time of the incident he was wearing a Yankees cap.
