Motorcyclist Killed In Collision On Union Turnpike
Victim, from Miami Beach, struck van after driving into oncoming traffic.

A Miami man was killed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend in Forest Hills, according to police.
Police in the received a call at 7:11 p.m. Saturday night about a man unresponsive in the street at the intersection of Union Turnpike and 72nd Avenue.
When police and EMTs arrived at the scene, they found 37-year-old Andres Rodriguez-Mojica near his motorcycle. He was unresponsive and declared dead at the scene of the incident.

After an investigation, police determined that the victim, who was from Miami Beach, Florida, drove over the median from the eastbound into the westbound lane on Union Turnpike. Once in the opposite lane, Rodriguez-Mojica drove into a Ford van driven by a 29-year-old man travelling west on the street.
No criminality is suspected, and the incident is still under investigation.
