NYPD Releases Sketch Of Queens Firebomb Suspect

Police seeking man in Molotov cocktail incidents over the holiday weekend.

Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted in the firebombing of four locations in Queens over the holiday weekend.

The incidents all occurred in the borough between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Jan. 1. The suspect allegedly threw several Molotov cocktails, according to police, causing fire and property damage each time he struck.

One of the locations targeted was a mosque near the Van Wyck Expressway.  A Hillside Avenue bodega and two private homes were also struck.

The suspect is described as between 25- and 30-years-old, roughly 5-foot-8, and 200 pounds, wearing a black jacket and a baseball bat at the time of the incidents. He left the scene of each incident in a light colored four-door sedan.
