Wanted: Pickpockets of Forest Hills Bar [Video]

Police seeking two in grand larceny on Metropolitan Avenue.

Police in Forest Hills are seeking a suspect wanted in a late-night credit card theft on Metropolitan Avenue.

On Sunday, April 22, a resident was at St. James Bar at 2 a.m. on Metropolitan Avenue when she noticed her pocketbook had been stolen out of her purse. 

Minutes later, the credit card was used to purchase items at drug stores in Forest Hills.

Police in the 112 Precinct are seeking a man and a woman in their twenties in connection with the incident. 

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips at the Crime stoppers website atWWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
