Police Seeking Man Wanted In Queens Hold-Ups

Four robberies in four weeks for masked bandit.

Police in Queens are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with four robberies in the past month.

The first incident took place on Jan. 8 at 4:55 a.m. The suspect entered the JFK Inn on South Conduit Boulevard and brandished a silver semiautomatic handgun and demanded money. The victim coughed up an unknown amount of cash and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

A similar incident happened again at Giant Farmers Market on Jan. 22 at 138-13 Queens Blvd. in nearby Briarwood. Again, the suspect demanded cash while flashing a piece, fleeing in an unknown direction with the proceeds.

In February, two further incidents occurred, one at a 150th Street Dunkin Donuts and the other at a Gulf station on Atlantic Avenue.

The suspect is described as between five-foot-seven and five-foot-nine with a thin build. He is in his twenties, and was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a green, yellow and red bandana drawn over the lower half of his face.
